Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern attendance at and participation in the ECI Conference 2027, organised by AEIPI. By registering for the conference, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms in full.

Organiser

The ECI Conference 2027 is organised by AEIPI – Asociación Española de Intervención en la Primera Infancia (CIF G-26550863), C/ Danzas 10-6, 46001 Valencia, Spain, in collaboration with Eurlyaid – European Association on Early Childhood Intervention.

Conference Details

The ECI Conference 2027 will take place on 31 March – 2 April 2027 at the Ministerio de Derechos Sociales, Madrid, Spain. The conference language is English.

AEIPI reserves the right to make changes to the programme, speakers, venue, or schedule where circumstances require. Registered attendees will be notified of any material changes as soon as reasonably practicable.

Registration

Registration for the ECI Conference 2027 is completed through the Weeztix ticketing platform. A registration is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment. Confirmation will be sent to the email address provided at the time of registration.

Each registration is personal and non-transferable. If you are unable to attend, you may request a cancellation or, where possible, a name change by contacting us at congreso2027@aeipi.org before the applicable deadline.

AEIPI reserves the right to decline or cancel a registration at its sole discretion, in which case a full refund will be issued.

Registration Fees

Registration fees vary depending on participant profile and registration date. Current fees are published on the Registration page of this website. All fees are stated in euros and include applicable taxes.

A booking fee of 3.5% is applied by the Weeztix ticketing platform and is included in the total amount displayed at checkout.

Early bird rates are available for a limited period and cannot be applied retroactively once the early bird deadline has passed.

If you require an invoice for your registration, please contact us at congreso2027@aeipi.org providing your full billing details after completing your registration.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to congreso2027@aeipi.org. The date on which the written request is received will determine the applicable refund.

The Weeztix booking fee is non-refundable in all cases. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 14 business days of the cancellation being confirmed.

No-shows are not eligible for a refund.

Cancellation or Postponement by the Organiser

In the event that AEIPI is required to cancel or postpone the conference due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control — including but not limited to force majeure, public health emergencies, or venue unavailability — registered attendees will be notified as soon as possible.

In the event of cancellation by AEIPI, registration fees will be refunded in full, excluding the Weeztix booking fee. AEIPI shall not be liable for any other costs incurred by attendees, including travel, accommodation, or visa expenses.

In the event of postponement, registrations will be transferred to the new dates by default. Attendees who cannot attend the rescheduled event may request a full refund within 30 days of the postponement announcement.

Abstract Submission

Abstracts for the ECI Conference 2027 are submitted through the Oxford Abstracts platform. By submitting an abstract, authors confirm that:

  • The work is original and has not been published or presented at another conference in substantially the same form
  • All co-authors have agreed to the submission
  • The submitting author accepts responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of the content
  • If accepted, at least one author will register for and attend the conference to present the work

The abstract submission deadline is 31 December 2026. Abstracts received after this date will not be considered. All submissions are subject to double-blind peer review. Acceptance decisions are final.

AEIPI reserves the right to include accepted abstracts in the conference programme and any associated publications, with attribution to the authors.

Photography, Video, and Recording

The ECI Conference 2027 may be photographed and recorded for documentation, educational, and promotional purposes. By attending, you acknowledge that your image or voice may be captured during the event.

AEIPI may use photographs and recordings from the conference in its communications, publications, and on its website and social media channels, with no financial obligation to those depicted.

Attendees who do not wish to appear in photographs or recordings should inform the registration desk on arrival. Reasonable steps will be taken to accommodate this request.

Attendees may not record sessions without the prior written consent of AEIPI and the relevant speaker(s).

Code of Conduct

The ECI Conference 2027 is committed to providing a respectful, inclusive, and safe environment for all participants, regardless of gender, nationality, disability, age, sexual orientation, or professional background.

All attendees, speakers, sponsors, and staff are expected to behave in a professional and courteous manner throughout the event. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated.

AEIPI reserves the right to remove any participant who fails to comply with this Code of Conduct, without refund.

Limitation of Liability

AEIPI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from attendance at or inability to attend the ECI Conference 2027, including loss of profits, loss of business opportunity, or any costs related to travel and accommodation.

Attendees are responsible for arranging their own travel, accommodation, and travel insurance. AEIPI strongly recommends that all attendees obtain appropriate insurance to cover cancellation, travel disruption, and personal liability.

AEIPI's total liability to any attendee shall not exceed the registration fee paid by that attendee.

Data Protection

Personal data collected through the registration process is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions. By registering, you confirm that you have read and accepted our Privacy Policy.

Registration data may be shared with third-party service providers involved in the delivery of the conference, such as the ticketing and abstract management platforms, under equivalent data protection obligations.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Spanish law. Any disputes arising from or related to participation in the ECI Conference 2027 shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Valencia, Spain, unless mandatory consumer protection provisions in your country of residence require otherwise.

Changes to These Terms

AEIPI reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version in force at the time of your registration will apply to your attendance. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
